Neethia (Xi Pegasi) is a star system that hosts a planetary system that hosts the Neethian cradlefish.

Star System

Neethia, also known as Xi Pegasi, is a star system within the Milky Way’s Alpha Quadrant.

The star system is approximately 53.2 light years from Sol (Earth). Its average apparent magnitude, as viewed from Earth, is 4.2, and its absolute visual magnitude is 3.1, making it about 4 and 7/10ths brighter than Sol. The system’s primary star is a white subgiant with a stellar classification of F6 and an average temperature of about 6,975 degrees Kelvin. The stellar classification of its secondary star is M. Planetary System

The Neethia star system hosts an inhabited planetary system with no less than one planet. Neethia, a planet within the planetary system, is the origin of the star system’s common name.

Circa Stardate -15200, Humans originating from Earth first gained knowledge about the existence of the Neethian cradlefish, a remarkable creature similar to a parasitic Earth flatworm in that severed portions of its body can continue to live and eventually grow into complete organisms.
