Personal History
Original name: S'Rae.
S'Rae was born on Ecurai to a Vulcan mother and Romulan father. She was raised in the Vulcan traditions of logic and self mastery, until the age of 8, when her father's family kidnapped her and took her to ch'Havran to be raised by her father's mother. There her name was changed to Lyirru Khaiell by her father's family.
Her grandmother had disowned her son, and set about making a true Rihanha of her half-breed daughter. Torn between contempt and a need for redemption of her house and bloodline, Lyirru's grandmother attempted to purge everything Vulcan from her granddaughter. Lyirru was sent to the finest (and strictest) schools, and taught to love and honor the traditions of the Empire, and loath the Ra'faicolsu scum who would tear the Empire apart.
Intelligent and clever, Lyirru excelled in school, surprising her instructors. She had an uncanny ability to see and interpret patterns, something that the academy quickly focused into her tactical training.
Lyirru herself had little difficulty in dealing with her Vulcan half and early Vulcan training. In fact, she found the ability to isolate her emotions and focus objectively was a great benefit to her. The combination of logic and loyalty caught the attention of her instructors. Lyirru herself would say that it was this combination that made her a superior officer and individual, despite the taint of her blood.
Lyirru's anger at her parents is a blend of her hatred for their traitorous activities and her pain that they did not come and take her back from her grandmother, leading her to believe that they had abandoned her.

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: When Lyirru was only 8 she was pulled away from her family, even worse, she was told by her grandmother that her parents were traitors to the Empire. Lyirru, being young and impressionable, was disappointed that her parents did not come and retrieve her, and assumed it was because they simply did not care enough about her to rescue her.
