Starbase 39-Sierra

Starbase 39-Sierra is a Federation starbase located near the Romulan Neutral Zone in the Beta Quadrant.

The station consists of a round saucer section atop a stalk-like engineering hull, overall resembling a mushroom. Its components are said to be reminiscent of the Deep Space Station K-13 modules.

• In 2270, Starbase 39-Sierra was located in the Sierra system.

• In 2364, while en route to the Neutral Zone to investigate the disappearance of several outposts, the Enterprise left some civilian passengers with this station.

• From 2377 to 2387, this station was part of the Kaleb sector.

• By 2409 and until 2410 this base and the Sierra system were part of the Alpha Centauri sector block, until sector blocks were later abolished.
