Events

Enterprise-D events

• The Enterprise-D is destroyed over Veridian III.
  Most of the entire crew survive, taking refuge in the ship's saucer section, which crash lands on the planet.
• Worf is promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
• Captain James T. Kirk emerges from the Nexus and is killed helping Jean-Luc Picard prevent Dr. Soran from destroying the Veridian system.

Deep Space Nine events

• The starship USS Voyager departs Deep Space 9 on a mission to find a Maquis raider.
  Both ships are thrown 75,000 light years into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.
• The Maquis member Thomas Riker steals the USS Defiant and uses it to expose a Cardassian military buildup in the Orias system.
• The Bajoran-Cardassian Treaty is signed, sending political shock waves throughout the Alpha Quadrant.
• The Romulan Star Empire sends diplomats to Deep Space 9 to take Star Fleets data on the Dominion, and then destroy the station and wormhole.
  Their plan is thwarted by Miles O'Brien and Benjamin Sisko.

USS Voyager events

• Tuvok joins Chakotay's Maquis cell as an undercover operative of Star Fleet.
• Voyager makes first contact with the Kazon, and the race immediately becomes hostile.
• Neelix joins the Voyager crew, under the guise of being an "Ambassador to the Delta Quadrant."
• Captain Kathryn Janeway grants field commissions to the Maquis crew.

Other notable events

• The Obsidian Order exposes Legate Tekeny Ghemor's ties to the Cardassian dissident movement.
• The starship USS Equinox is lost in the Badlands, pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.
• The Cardassian Obsidian Order, together with the Romulan Tal Shiar, are lured into a trap to attack the Founder's homeworld in the Gamma Quadrant.
  The battle leads to the complete destruction of the combined Romulan-Cardassian fleet, and severely cripples both organizations.
• Martok is captured by the Dominion and sent to infamous Internment Camp 371.
