A mining and scientific survey sent during Stardate 20608 reported the system as having no scientific value. During Stardate 20808, the RIS Shadowhawk, answering a distress call, encountered a hidden Tal'Shiar base on the planet. The facility was conducting bioweapons research. An unknown pathogen had spread throughout the base, requiring the Shadowhawk to render assistance. The ship's medical staff, led by S'Ten and Areinnye s'Jeiai, found a cure for the disease, though the Shadowhawk's first officer, Domaere, fell victim to the pathogen and died. The Shadowhawk's commanding officer, V'Tana, acting in cooperation with the facility's commander, Valis, destroyed the base, leaving no trace of it behind.
