Rho Capricorni is a star system within the Milky Way’s Alpha Quadrant.

The star system is approximately 98.7 light years from Sol (Earth). Its average apparent magnitude, as viewed from Earth, is 4.8, and its absolute visual magnitude is 2.4, making it about 9 times brighter than Sol. Its primary star is a white subgiant with a stellar classification of F2 and an average temperature of about 6,375 degrees Kelvin. The stellar classification of its secondary star is F.
