The Devron system is located in the Romulan Neutral Zone, in the Beta Quadrant.
As of 2370, Federation Starbase 23 was the closest Starfleet outpost.
Historical Significance:
In an alternate future created by the being Q, the Devron system was the site of an anti-time eruption.
- The anti-time eruption was supposed caused by the convergence of three inverse tachyon pulses in three different time periods
- The discovery of this spatial anomaly created great concern in the Romulan Empire, which sent at least thirty Warbirds to investigate
- Starfleet sent ships as well, including the Enterprise-D, in response to the Romulan movements
This timeline was negated when Captain Picard was able to prevent the formation of the temporal eruption from occurring.
