Chi Herculis is a star that hosts a planetary system.

Chi Herculis is a single star within the Milky Way’s Alpha Quadrant.

The star is approximately 51.8 light years from Sol (Earth). Its average apparent magnitude, as viewed from Earth, is 4.6, and its absolute visual magnitude is 3.6, making it about 3 and 1/10th brighter than Sol. It is a white main sequence “dwarf” with a stellar classification of F8 and an average temperature of about 7,275 degrees Kelvin. (See also the Astronomical Terms Database.)
