Federation Space Canon
- The USS Valley Forge is sent on a peacekeeping operation to Elteban III.
- The USS Philadelphia is sent on an escort mission to the Roxion system, later rendezvousing with the USS Titan near the Sheridan Nebula.
- While attempting to convince the Orion Dragon Cartel to assist in the war against the Romulans, the USS Republic comes under attack by a Romulan starship.
- The USS Dauntless, on her shakedown cruise, intercepts an encrypted mission, and uncovers a group of Romulan spies.
While later checking up on a Federation Intel-base, the Dauntless engages in battle with Romulan forces, resulting in the deaths of over 120,000 Romulan troops.
- The USS Gettysburg is sent to salvage a derelict Romulan Warbird, and investigate the Dead Zone.
- While investigating a distress call from a Klingon vessel, the USS Titan is attacked by two Romulan warbirds.
Other Events
- The Second Federation/Romulan War occurs.
- Romulans defeated in the "Battle of the Sheridan Nebula" by combined fleet.
This is followed up by Romulan attack on Starbase 1. - USS Republic, USS Titan, USS Gettysburg are commissioned.
- The USS Yoritomo is recommissioned.
- Stardate 20211.14 – The Borg Collective return to the Sol System, destroying the Romulan attack fleet, Starbase 1, San Francisco Shipyards, USS Avenger, and USS Valley Forge.
- Armageddon Directive initiated by FAdm Jonathan Beckett on Stardate 20211.14. Most Federation outposts and Starbases assumed destroyed/assimilated by the Borg.
- All Star Fleet vessels are cut off from the Federation.
