He becomes the permanent Federation ambassador in the Delta Quadrant. - Captain Kathryn Janeway is captured by the Hierarchy.
Voyager's EMH has to masquerade as the captain in order to save her and protect the crew. - One of the six Borg transwarp hubs is found by the crew of Voyager.
Captain Kathryn Janeway at first orders the ship to avoid it at all costs. - Voyager attempts to conclude its seven-year odyssey through the Delta Quadrant by using the Borg transwarp network to return to the Alpha Quadrant.
- Miral Paris, daughter of B'Elanna Torres and Tom Paris, is born.

- Star Fleet declares the USS Voyager officially Missing in Action, and FedSpace does not see the return of Voyager or any of her crew.
- Star Fleet forces, engaged in the war effort, stop the Romulan advance and slowly begin to push them back into their own territory.
