- The "Outer Space Treaty" is signed by more than sixty nations, the first and most foundational legal instrument of space law on Earth.
Formally known as "Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies", it formed the basis of international space law on Earth.
