Personal History

Delta was born on her home world of Andoria. Born s’Tar sh’ivhiahrahr, she would later take the name Delta. Her family were strong believers of their culture and as such, Delta had both two mothers and two fathers. Although her family followed the true beliefs of Andoria, none of them served in the Andorian Imperial Guard. They rather lent their expertise in the fields of Science and Medicine. Delta’s mother Kuss zh’ivhiahrahr was a surgeon, while her father ter’k ch’ivhiahrahr served the people as a Counselor. Shraron sh’ivhiahrahr and s’Tar th’ivhiahrahr both served on an Andorian starship for most of Delta’s young life in the Astronomy field.

Being Andorian, Delta grew up in a small keth, of thirty members. Her father Ster’k ch’ivhiahrahr served as the atlolla, so Delta was well liked and respected. From a young age Delta knew she wanted to serve in the Imperial Guard, and spent most of her free time, among members of the Imperial Guard listening to their stories and training with them.

By the age of fifteen, Delta had become so obsessed with the Imperial guard, her family and studies only got attention in her spare time. She trained every free moment she had, with the Andorian traditional weapons, but favored the Chaka, a claw-like weapon designed to be cradled between the fingers to form a punch-blade. Multiple blades protrude from the sides of the weapon, allowing for multiple lacerations in one stroke. Although her family encouraged her, they also worried that she was being single mined and not working towards her full potential. Delta enrolled in the Imperial Guard as soon as she could.

By the age of twenty, Delta was a recognized warrior for the Imperial Guard and served Andoria with pride. While on duty one day, doing a routine patrol outside of the palace’s walls in a nearby town, her party was attached by a rogue keth, looking to force change in the town. The raiding party was swiftly dealt with, but their leader insisted on his right to Ushaan. Delta was selected to part take in the Ushaan to represent the Imperial Guard. It was the first Ushaan Delta was to participate in, but she had trained for it most of her life.

The fight lasted all of two minutes and as Delta rose her Ushaan-tor to end her opponent. An explosion occurred a few streets down, drawing Delta’s attention for just a second. This gave her opponent a split second to stab Delta in the stomach and chop her left antennae off her head. As she lay bleeding on the floor, she demanded that her opponent finish the job. He refused as he was fighting for change. Both groups started moving off, leaving Delta lying in agony to bleed out.

A young Aenar named Kyv came to Delta’s aid when the dust settled, and took Delta to her home. Kyv housed Delta for months, while her wounds slowly healed and her antennae grew back. Although fully functional again, the antennae never reached full length again. While healing Delta experienced conflict in her believes and way of thinking, and ended up forming a Tezha with Kyv. With her old believes crushed, no Imperial Guard to go back to, and no interest in the Andorian way of life anymore, Kyv and Delta left Andoria to start a new life together.

The two created a good life together, running a shuttle service between outposts, for those who didn’t have anything to hide. They made sure their clients were reputable, and always ran a tight business.

Three years in, their shuttle was attacked by pirates. The shuttle was not designed for battle and the pirates took out their propulsion systems. The life support systems were also damaged from the attack. As Delta began to lose conciseness she saw a Starship approaching them and chasing off the pirates. The shuttle was damaged beyond repair but the Federation Starship offer the two safe passage to Sol where they themselves where heading for repairs and shore leave.

Aboard the Federation ship, Delta became good friends with a Trill Midshipman named Chin Rihju. Chin was a tactic officer on the ship, and took an instance liking to Delta. It had been her first mission aboard a Starship and had so much to tell and show Delta. Chin enjoyed showing Delta the workings of the ship, and Delta started to see great similarities to when she served in the Imperial Guard.

Upon arriving at Sol, both Delta and Kyv requested asylum by the Federation, allowing them to stay on Sol.

The trio travelled around Sol on Chin’s shore leave, seeing all the sights the planet had to offer. When Chin returned to active duty, Kyv found a nursing post on the planet while Delta joined the Federation’s academy. It was a new start for Delta, with new rules and regulations for her to focus on. Delta only knew how to serve and how to fight, so she was put into the security field, where both traits could be put to good use. Delta found the academy settling in a way, but not the world. It was almost always to warm, and just looked and felt so much different to Andoria. Although Delta studied hard to become a security officer, she also decided to minor in ships weaponry, as it was Chin’s skill and knowledge which had given her a second chance.
