(Age: 18 - 22)
(Federation Space Year 3-7)
Jericho first joined the Academy straight from highschool 3 years after the Dominion War had ended. Taking studies as a Tactical Officer, he excelled in strategic operations while barely passing his advanced starship piloting classes. Having joined Star Fleet during the tail end of the First Romulan War when officer’s were becoming a fine luxury, Jericho found himself as a cadet on active duty on the USS Columbia. Having to juggle Academy studies with active duty on a starship was a daunting task, however in the long run paid off for him; upon graduation, Jericho, having had front line experience and in addition having developed several tactics to use against the Romulans, graduated the Academy and was promoted to the rank of Lt. JG. And assigned as a tactical officer on the ship he had served during the war, the USS Columbia.
(Age: 22 - 30)
(Federation Space year 7-15)
The following years were fairly quiet with many missions patrolling the Klingon and Romulan boarders to observe any activity that may occur. During this time, Jericho found his career and life progressing normally, being promoted to Lt at age 26 and assigned as Chief Tactical Officer of the USS Linburg, and marrying the women he had interest in for the last 5 years Rebekah; as things would have it 9 months later they brought their first child, Adam, into the world; a pleasant but very unexpected surprise. At age 30 he was promoted to the rank of LCdr and was offered the position of First Officer on the Destroyer USS New Orleans under the command of Captain Sarah Edwards.
(Age: 30 - 35)
(Federation Space year 15-20)
When the General War first broke out the USS New Orleans, which was on a boarder patrol, quickly found themselves overrun by the first wave of attacks forcing their way into Federation Space. Barely escaping with their lives, the heavily damaged USS New Orleans quickly found itself behind enemy lines. With the ship nearly torn apart, warp drive barely functioning, and Captain Edwards killed in the attack, the crew of the New Orleans found themselves with a long, risky 3 year journey to the nearest Star Fleet installation; a journey that the odds of survival would be against them.
Limping the damaged ship from hiding place to hiding place, conducting repairs after small ambushes along the way, after 3 years the heavily battered USS New Orleans, which was by now presumed destroyed by Star Fleet, docked at starbase.
Jericho, having served as the ships acting Captain already for a few years, was promoted at the age of 33 to the rank of Commander, awarded the Star Fleet Cross of Gallantry along with several other prestigious awards, and given official command of the fully repaired USS New Orleans. From that point on, now being a focus of heroism and encouragement to the fleet, the USS New Orleans saw little conflict for the remainder of the war.
(Age: 35 - 40)
(Federation Space year 20-25)
With his career heavily dictated to him by the politics of being a war hero, just after the war had ended he found himself setting in the command seat of a newly commissioned Fearless Class Heavy Cruiser the USS Excelsior. Admittedly, Jericho knew he was far too young to be commanding such a ship such as the Excelsior, but he quickly caught on.
At age 38, Jericho was promoted to Captain and remained aboard the USS Excelsior.
(Federation Space year 25-31)
During the Second Romulan War, Jericho proved his value to Starfleet gained through his years of service and experience through prior wars, and showed outstanding leadership ability. When the Borg invaded the Sol system, because of the dire situation, and the lack of experienced officers caused from the invasion itself and the Romulan War, Jericho being an experienced war veteran was given a field promotion to the rank of Commodore, and given command of the 263rd Support Flotilla.
Concluding the Borg Invasion, at the age of 45 was assigned as the Tactical Division’s Tactical Assessment department head. During his time there, he also volunteered as a professor at the academy.
(Age 46 - 48)
(Federation Space year 31-33)
At the age of 46, and being pressured to do so by his long time ailing marriage, Jericho retired from Star Fleet.
(Federation Space year late 33)
With his marriage only getting worse, and the war with the Romulan’s starting, Jericho found himself contacting Star Fleet to come out of retirement to assist in the war effort. Unable to find an open position for him, his chances for rejoining were looking grim. Not particularly wanting a desk job anyway, Jericho offered to take a voluntary grade reduction to the rank of Captain and requested command duty on or near the frontlines.
Jericho soon found himself as a replacement for Captain Joseph Valiant, Space Station Sierra Eighteen's former Commanding Officer.
(Federation Space year 34)
Jericho's previous rank of Commodore is reinstated, and is promoted to Battle Group Commander within the newly organized Third Fleet.
