Personal History
Kell grew up in the capital of Trill with her parents and older brother. She had a simple upbringing with a brother who were always there to support her or help her with homeworks or school assignments.
Kell often spent many afternoons listening to her uncle Karzar’s stories, who was a Starfleet science officer. Karzar’s stories of the ships he had served on and the all the different species working together were favourites of Kell’s since an early age, and they alone had her thinking of following Karzar’s footsteps.
Kell’s teenage years were a bit of a harder time for her. Her brother moved on to initiation at the Trill Science Ministry, Her mother were constantly trying to persuade her to take all the extra courses at school and even enter the Symbiont Joining Selection programme and her uncle were rarely home from his duties.As a consequence of this plus going through the Trill equivalent of what the Humans call “puberty”, she had started developing a sense of depression. She started questioning herself and were even told to go see a psychiatrist. Whilst the psychiatrist were a great help, Kell still has issues dealing with her fearing of doing something wrong which could lead to something worse.
When Kell applied for entrance into Starfleet Academy she had a very tough choice to make. Eighter she was going to follow her uncle’s footsteps and join as a science cadet or she would commit to taking her own path. Kell eventually decided to apply for medical training, after counseling with her psychiatrist, who was certain that it would help Kell’s self confidence, which, with a proud uncle who congratulated her on her choice, did help.
Whilst on a transport to Earth, Kell met another cadet, one who she became great friends with. Her name was Rinal Voer. They supported each other actively during their early days in the academy and Rinal introduced Kell to the joys of sports like ion-surfing and Risan hoverball.
Although Rinal eventually decided to drop out of the Academy and return back to Trill; they are both great friends and keep in contact.

Personality: Responsible and very self conscious. However Kell usually work better in a group rather than alone.
Sense of Humor: Putting it simple, Kell’s sense of humor is quite ironic.
Phobias: Bites from bugs and small insects. Although they are not fatal to Kell as they are to joined Trills she absolutely hates them. Another phobia that she has is the fear of, not as much failing, but rather the consequences of her failures.
Likes: Beautiful or remarkable views, Swimming and “exotic” sports.
Dislikes: People who constantly seek danger and act irresponsibly.
Pet Peeves or Gripes: People who can’t just cut their fingernails, but instead keeps playing or chewing on them.
Bad Habits or Vices: Kell has a bad habit of lip biting when she gets nervous or under stress.
Achievements: Successful entrance to Starfleet Academy and passing her courses there.
Disappointments: Kell is slightly disappointed in herself for not having a stronger spirit.
Illnesses: Kell has not suffered from any notable major illness.
Strengths: Kell’s love for swimming and sports keeps her fit and healthy.
Weaknesses: Alongside her fears, Kell is not very good at working alone as it often leads to her breaking down in spirit a bit and getting stuck on simple things such as formalizing a report.
Fears: Kell’s greatest fear is that someone might get hurt or injured as a consequence of her own actions.
Prejudices: Klingons. Kell finds them unnecessarily aggressive and is extremely annoyed at their obsession with “Honor”.

Friends: Rinal Voer, a fellow Starfleet cadet she met whilst in transit to Earth to begin her own training. They supported each other actively during their early days in the academy but eventually Rinal decided to drop out of the Academy and return back to Trill where she is now living a normal life. Kell and Rinal keeps in contact regularly.
Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: Kell’s most painful experience was in San Francisco when she fell and broke two bones in her right leg whist she was rock climbing at an Academy event.
Best Time: When Kell’s uncle took time off and paid a surprise visit to the Academy to congratulate her on applying for Medical education.
Most Crucial Experience: Deciding to not follow uncle's footsteps as a Starfleet science officer but rather to join Starfleet as a medical cadet instead.
Role Model: Kell’s uncle who inspired her to make the decision to join Starfleet and her old psychiatrist who indirectly motivated her to take her own path in life and join Starfleet Medical.
