Personal History
Norak come from a long line of farmers and miners. He went through the Academy and was kicked out on a few occasions. Mostly minor things, like working with the black-market. But after taking multiple tests to get back in and extension classes, he was finally able to complete his schooling.
Some of his friends also majored in the same thing as Norak. When he and five of his friends where about 12 to 13 they bought an old run down freighter. It had no warp engines, no life support, fair impulse engines, and was falling or caving in everywhere. Most of the repaired parts came from the black market, but some were manufactured by "The Crew" themselves, which is why they've never used the transporter. They slept where they worked, Norak in main engineering trying to paste pieces back together. They went out 20 to 35 times, depending on who you ask. They named her Snow Day. On her maiden voyage, her engines blew up, and they were towed home.
One of his rinam, Naralak, is already planning to be a doctor. His household consists of: aunts and uncles on both sides, nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters. They deal with many different animals. One of the more known people they sell to are the Klingons, but best cuts are shipped around the Romulan Empire. His father was a blacksmith by trade, and he taught Norak the same trade. Norak didn't come from a privileged family but still had high status. Norak missed classes often to go to auctions and buy livestock.

Norak had felt kind of bad about almost running him over, so he invited him to join dinner with him. Norak was eating alone anyways and thought that some company was better then none. Eivak excepted. They ate at the "Old Place" on the outskirts of town. The planet was on the Klingon/Romulan border. They started talking and found that they had lots in common. They haven't been able to see each other for a while but on occasion they send and receive messages and try to keep in touch.
