Personal History

At the early age of 8 both parents were killed in a freak transport accident while enroute home from a humanitarian mission on Mars. This is where the interest in medicine came from as a way to help others in need.

Medical School was started at the age of 19 on Earth. During the last year of school Julio married a Betazoid named Julianna, who was also studying medicine to become a surgeon. She was more intriguing then anyone which he had ever met. She had always challenged Julio to better himself. He truly felt his life was complete with her in it.

While finishing his medical residency in Europe, Julio was in the last week of his training. At that time was when news of the great sadness came to him. His dear wife Julianna had died of the rare and little known about Zibo Nerve Plague, while she was on a relief mission in deep space.

After he took a small sabbatical to see where his heart would lead him, He decided to continue on with his life with the promise to never forget what had happened. A couple years later he found himself in California to begin a new chapter in his life. A Star Fleet adventure to explore a new frontier of life, and maybe one day find a cure to the illness which took his true love and just maybe perhaps find a new love in time.
