Galen IV

Galen IV is a formerly-Federation-inhabited planet, located in the Alpha Quadrant.

The primary star of this system is classified as K-class star. Galen IV was listed as a Federation member in 2378.

This heavily-forested planet was the home to the Federation Galen IV colony.

During the 2350s, this planet was disputed between the Federation and the Talarian Republic.
The Talarians felt the Federation was encroaching in on their territory, and so attacked the planet in 2357.

All of the Federation colonists were believed to have been massacred, as the colony was destroyed.

However, a single survivor emerged years later, as an adopted son of the Talarians.
