Tritanium is an ore that is known to be 21.4 times as hard as diamond. It is found, among other places, on the planet Argus X.

Tritanium alloy is a widely used construction material. The bulkheads of Federation starships, specifically of the Galaxy and Intrepid-class, were composed of tritanium.
