Thy'lek Shran was an Andorian commander in the Imperial Guard in the 2150s. Shran became an ally of Starfleet Captain Jonathan Archer.
- In 2151, led a team that raided the Vulcan monastery at P'Jem. It was revealed to be a secret listening post.
- In 2153, commanded a ship which was deployed to the Delphic Expanse
- Their orders were to capture a prototype of a Xindi weapon for their own use
- During the Xindi attack on Earth in 2154, assisted Archer and the Enterprise against the Xindi
