The Federation Starbase 185 was the starbase closest to the "J-25 system" when the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D was transported there by Q in 2365.

It was calculated that the 7,000 light year journey back would take approximately two years and seven months at maximum warp.

Due to Q, this is where Starfleet first encountered the Borg.
