Science Station Delta-05 was a Federation outpost in sector 3-0. The outpost, based on a planet, was the first stop of the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D--D 's tour of the sector. The crew of the Enterprise-D determined that the outpost had been obliterated by an unknown assailant.

The assailant was later identified as the Borg.
