Personal History
Jason and Loruen had met when Jason was on leave from Starfleet Command. Jason had at the time held the rank of Lt. Commander in Starfleet and was a Personnel Officer. Jason would joke and call himself a paper pusher. Loruen had a small shop in the cape selling exotic hand crafted Knickknacks so to speak. Loruen’s talents in crafts and started a business about 5 years before they met. Jason’s opinion was that it was love at first sight. But his mom on the other hand had played hard to get. She knew it was true because of her ability or talent to read minds because she was a telepath. Mom did love the cat and mouse game. They finally got married about 3 years later down near the Gulf of Mexico. Then moved to San Francisco bay area after closing her shop.
Two years later Michael was born to them. Mom always though Michael was going to be a special child. Dad never saw wrong while he was growing up. Michael went to public schools and did alright. He excelled in math and sciences, but it didn’t stop there. It wasn’t till the age of 13 when his Betazoid talents came out. His parents noticed that he wasn’t a full telepath but was really good in reading and feeding on how a person felt. While in school he didn’t really expose that part of himself till High school. It was with his first love. Her name was Amy.
They had dated for most all of freshmen and sophomore years. It wasn’t until his junior year he noticed different feelings in her. He knew exactly what they were. He even figured out which guy she was cheating with. And much to his surprise it was his best friend Eric. One day in the cafeteria they were all eating lunch well Eric and Amy where and Michael really couldn’t handle the feelings he was getting from them. He decided at that point he was done with either of them. Getting up he took his drink and dumped it on Amy’s head and his pasta lunch went straight into Eric’s lap. He walked off without saying another word.
Michael spent the rest of his High school years pretty much in books and prepared for graduation then the move on to college. Where he went to Oxford School of Medicine and after 4 years and another 2 of residency he decided he wanted to spend his medical career in Starfleet.
