Kolarus III was the third of six planets in the Kolarin system. It was located in Federation territory near the Romulan Neutral Zone.
It orbited 1.2 au away from Kolarus Prime, and its surface was dominated by vast savannas and deserts with little surface water, with a O2/N2 atmosphere.
It was inhabited by isolated pockets of Kolarans, an early industrial humanoid civilization.
