Glintara is a single star that hosts an inhabited planetary system. Its inhabitants are members of the Romulan Star Empire.

The star is approximately 63.5 light years from Sol (Earth). Its average apparent magnitude, as viewed from Earth, is 7.7, and its absolute visual magnitude is 6.3, making it only about 27/100ths as bright as Sol. It is a yellow subdwarf with a stellar classification of G0 and an average temperature of about 5,240 Kelvin.
