Almatha sector

The Almatha sector is a region of space located in the Alpha Quadrant.

Within this sector, there is an area of Cardassian space that borders the Demilitarized Zone. Border Outpost 47 was located in this sector.

This system is named for its main star, Almatha, a K-class orange star.

Fun Fact:

In 2371, the Maquis used a ship to create a perimeter alert in the Almatha sector, in order to distract the Cardassians from Thomas Riker's real target.
