Acamar III is the third planet in the Acamar system of the Beta Quadrant, and the homeworld to the Acamarians.
With two small oceans and a temperate climate, this planet also has extensive polar regions and heavy cloud cover. One year on this planet was equal to 382.3 Earth days.
In 2224, first contact with the people of Acamar III was made by the Orions, who began strip-mining the planet.
In early 2381, Acamar was attacked and devastated by the Borg.
