Ab-Tzenketh

Ab-Tzenketh, also known as Tzenketh (and sometimes Tzenketh VI) is the Tzenkethi homeworld.

Located in the Alpha Quadrant, this planet is the sixth out of the fifteen planets in its system. Ab-Tzenketh is orbited by two moons, Vot-Tzenketh and Lem-Tzenketh.

The Tzenkethi leader was once called "the Autarch", but was overthrown in 2371.

This planet is surrounded by a virtual "shell" of artificial satellites, which is so dense that it actually obstructs the moons' reflected light during nights.

• These satellites serve a number of functions, including orbital defense, external sensors, communications, global positioning, transporter management, weather control, and disruption of foreign sensor and transporter systems.

The surface of Ab-Tzenketh is mostly water, with several island continents representing the landmass of the world.

• The Tnectish continent is the cradle of the planet's sentient civilization
• With expansive ice caps, the habitable portions of these ice caps are not considered overly cold by the population
