Personal History
Olivia grew up on Earth and had the standard youth with nothing to traumatizing occurring aside from losing her 6th grade spelling bee competition. Olivia grew up with the mentality that she had to win at nearly all costs, and that no one will remember the person who comes in second; this mentality was largely reinforced by her parents from constant reminders of this ideal. Thus all the battles in life she lost haunts her and drives her to not lose. Living on this personal philosophy and learning her lesson at an early age Olivia strived to never lose again. She will manipulate, lie, and cheat to win. She isn’t afraid to use her mental abilities to read an individual’s thoughts and feelings to manipulate them; this is a taboo and socially unacceptable action however once again she manipulates the situations to avoid disgrace and reproach or simply is smart enough not to get caught in the first place. Finally, if/when the situation deems it a necessity, she will use her feminine beauty as a tool of destruction. Those tools however are a last resort. Olivia would much prefer to retain her morals and use flattery and friendly manipulation to gain favor and power in a situation rather than to put her morals aside to win.
Because of her personality traits, Olivia has excelled in a great deal of many ventures she has set out in. She graduated in the top 5 percentile in the academy, was adored by her instructors, and has earned the favor of many higher ranking officers, but all her actions did not come without a price; she is largely despised by her peers.
Upon graduating from Star Fleet Academy, Olivia was assigned to Star Fleet Tactical Command within the Tactical Planning Department. Shortly after she was assigned to the Tactical Planning Department the Borg invaded Sector 001. During the resulting war, the then Ensign Olivia Zetta assisted in a minor capacity in coordinating a number of classified tasks.
Currently Olivia is assigned to the USS Gettysburg as the ships Assistant Chief Shuttle Pilot, a position she’s more than adequately qualified for, but a position she feels is to menial for her talents. She feels that someone who she has stepped on on her way up the ladder has somehow surpassed her and is now attempting to ruin her career. This is an act she won’t soon forget, nor will she leave unattended; she won’t let this person win.
