Personal History
Chelsea was born on Earth as the second child to Tim and Danita Walls. Tim worked in construction will her mother was a civilian doctor. She learned everything she knows about medicine from her mother. When she was 13 she went with her family to Andoria for vacation. Chelsea became infected with the Andorian flu. With her mother, Danita, knowing very little about Andorian illnesses she turned to a local doctor to help with her daughters treatment.
When Chelsea turned 18, she entered Starfleet Academy. She entered and went through the enlistment training program, due to the fact that problems at home kept her from spending more time becoming an officer. During her third year she obtained her nursing degree. When she graduated the enlistment program with the rank of crewman she joined a small frigate. Chelsea remained at that post until she reach the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class.
With the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class she joined the crew of the USS Yeager. She stay onboard until most of the crew was transferred over to Space Station Sierra-18, becoming a nurse with a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class. With the war and capture of Sierra she joined the crew of the USS Ticonderoga. During this time she received a promotion to the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class.
Two months before the end of the war, Chelsea was transferred to Earth to undergo training to achieve her Chief rating. After weeks of training she was eventually promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Soon after she was transferred back to the Ticonderoga.
With the war over and the surrender of the Romulans, Sierra once again was under Federation control. Chelsea was assigned back to Sierra, but this time as Head Nurse under Commander Harrison-Black. During her first few weeks she started suffering from war trauma, so much as to the point of attacking Midshipman Thompson, from the USS Titan, and Security Officers sent to sedate her. Chelsea spent weeks undergoing counseling.
Chelsea is now mostly trauma free, however she still sees images of her attacking her fellow Starfleet personnel which disturbs her. She is still serving as Head Nurse of Sierra under the new CMO, Bernie Blake.
Feeling little in her area of Enlisted, up to the point where she felt she wasn't respected, Chelsea had applied for the Star Fleet Officer Candidacy Program. With problem on Sierra itself she was allowed to remain onboard, under the restriction that she maintained her studies and her duties as Head Nurse.
Eventually Chief Walls had been approached by two Academy attachés and she learned of her final training. It however required her return to Earth, something the nurse wasn't wanting. Returning she excelled in her training with only one instructor against her. Promotion ready she prepared for her new orders. Instead of returning to Sierra, what she was expecting she received order to report to Gettysburg.
