Vidiian Sodality

The Vidiian Sodality is the government of the Vidiian people, located in the Delta Quadrant.

With the Vidiian civilization as a whole devastated by a disease they called the Phage for at least two thousand years, the Sodality created laws based around the health needs of the people.

They outlawed gathering in groups, in the hopes of slowing the spread of the disease, and any Vidiian considered relatively healthy shunned any considered sick, no matter their relationship.

By 2375, a group hired by the Sidality called the "Think Tank" claimed to have successfully cured the Phage.

The Think Tank stated of the Vidiians, "you wouldn't recognize them now," insinuating that the people had returned to their pre-Phage pursuits, ideals, and morals.

Following a cure to the Phage being found, it has been said that the Vidiian Sodality "imploded," and the species as a whole was attacked by various races seeking revenge for the Vidiians' previous transgressions.
