Starship Identification Table

Below is a list of ships likely to be seen at large amongst the stars, including a threat index provided by Star Fleet Tactical Command and Star Fleet Intelligence. Vessels listed with an "Estimated" Threat Index have not been accurately reported on through sensor scans or Intelligence agents, and as such little is known about them.

Klingon Empire

Unlike the Romulan Star Empire, the Imperial Klingon Defence Force has seen little reason to introduce new classes of ships in recent decades. Instead relying on the ruggedness and reliability of proven designs, and simply upgrading the systems when required. The B'rel Bird-of-Prey is a prime example of this; despite having a design close to 150 years old, it is still used in vast numbers as an escort/patrol craft.
