Pveer Class Attack Vessels are small, paper-thin Romulan escort craft designed for speed and high maneuverability. Pveer Class ships are equipped with only 4 forward pulse cannons and 2 aft pulse cannon, their primary purpose being to engage larger vessels at very close range. They rarely attack alone, usually swarming in numbers and accompanying battle groups or other arrangements of military vessels. Typical use of these attack vessels is to have them engage enemy vessels at the same time as larger Romulan ships, moving in and firing at close range while the enemy is distracted by the larger more powerful vessels.
