Eden was born to Gentara and Tyris at a very crucial time in their relationship. Their free spirited lifestyles hadn't stopped them from having a child, even though they never wanted to marry. Eden was loved by her parents and everyone around her. She had the kind of personality growing up that people seemed to adore. Her parents gave her freedom of choice on everything, including what schools she wanted to attend. When she reached the age for college there was no pressure on her to even go, but a friend who joined Starfleet raved on it so much that she had to try it for herself. At first, she didnt like that it wasn't as free as she liked her life to be, but she got use to the structure and discipline of it all. She had always liked helping people with their problems so it was obvious her field of choice would be counseling.
