Personal History

Growing up on Bajor, he was raised to know the way of the Prophets, and the way of the Warrior. Sometimes it gave him more questions than answers, and he was always looking for answers. His religion gave him faith and hope, the way of the warrior gave him a bit of a temper. When Keti was young, his parents passed on due to an accident. Both of Keti's parents were heavily educated in engineering, and often worked on heavy machinery together, they were known in the area to be able to fix almost anything. It was an unfortunate series of events that caused a rupture in the power cells, and a very large explosion with no chance to escape at all. This left Keti to be raised by his Uncle who lived in a very barren area, with little to no resources. The living conditions, even as they were, wasn't that bad. It was just that Keti became lost and confused, neither of the men took the loss very well at all. This was the turning point that gave him a bad temper, and a lot of fights.

It was that temper that led him to Unar, who taught him a better way to deal with his anger. Unar just happened to be at the Hospital when Keti came with fight related injuries, and there were weapons involved. Keti suffered from multiple cuts, including the cut that he got on his face. Fortunately Unar was able to get to Keti just after most of his wounds were taken care of, but the last one that they were going to take care of was the eye. They did enough to stop the bleeding, but wanted to make sure they didn't have to work on the eye before getting rid of the scar. When the eye test was complete, Keti wanted to keep the scar just as a reminder of what could have happened.

After that, Keti was lost and confused, and went into the nearest temple for prayer and answers. The Vedic that seen him come in knew he needed more than a few answers, and granted him an Orb experience. Naturally the Orb experience was as clear as mud, but the figures did look like people he knew from the past and three stood out. Two that looked like his parents in Golden StarFleet Uniforms, and what looked like his Grandfather in Science Blue. This is when he met Unar, who had been through an Orb experience before but was strictly forbidden to speak of it like anyone else.

Unar was the reason that Keti got into Science, and got an education in it. With out Unar, Keti would not have the confidence to proceed with his studies. Keti had the ability to learn. However his education was limited while on his home planet, and really expanded once he moved to Earth with Unar. It was a double purpose move With further Education Keti set his sights higher, and started the process to join the Academy. It was shocking to him that he actually got in, and he was able to excel.

His class list wasn't easy, but Keti was too stubborn to quit. His studies, and religion kept Keti out of most trouble, but not all of it. There was some room for fun, but not a heck of a lot. While on Earth Keti discovered a different kind of balance, a balance of having a good time and being a good student.

To experience another culture, Keti and Unar took a trip to China, and found there were not all that different. Family was always important, and the family name always came before the given name in more traditional households. One thing that was really special to him was the Chinese New Year, he never seen anything like it. The food was amazing, and so were the people. The fireworks display was the perfect way to end the evening, it will always stick out in his memory.

Finally when Keti graduated, it was a great feeling. He made it, and was now able to join a ship. The hard part was finding one that best suited him, but felt like he was being drawn to the Geronimo. An amazing Warrior in his own time, and wisdom to guide him. This was a future he wanted for himself, and just went with it.

Personal Paradigm Shifts

Most Painful Experience: woke up in the hospital with no memory about what put him there, and had no vision when he woke up. There was a chance that Keti would be blind permanently, but fortunately that wasn’t the case.
Best Time: Entering his first tournament was pretty exciting, where he was competing but no one got hurt. Keti met a lot of new people, and had a lot of fun. It was the first time he could really appreciate the Arts in Martial-arts, and that made a giant difference.
Most Crucial Experience: completely uprooting and moving to Earth
