Personal History
Isshiim was born on the Terran old Calendar of March the 5th. He and his twin brother Iishhiim where born with an extreme defect amongst the Aenar, the ability to see. While more than Ninety-Five percent of the Aenar population is blind, sight amongst younglings is not unheard of. It was only when the twins where twelve did this truly become a disappointment.
With their defect they were considered a punishment of the ancestors. Genealogy research by concluded that one of their grandparents was an Andorian, this is what had given the twins their sight. From the time he could talk Isshiim was spending most all of his time in the engineering level of the family starship. He loved to find out how exactly everything worked and what was needed to maintain/ make them better. He showed a natural talent in dealing with the mechanisms and was put in a position of responsibility, keeping critical systems in working order.
During his childhood he and his twin began the development of their telepathic abilities. They could communicate easily from opposite ends of the vessel. The twins were inseparable, but after the Ferengi incident they decided that they were going to pursue different careers in life.
With his natural ability in the field of engineering and his recent promotion to ships chief engineer, Isshiim realized that that was his place in his life. Iishhiim, however wanted to be on the bridge of a starship commanding it in to the vast unknowns of space. When Isshiim was accepted at Star Fleet the twins thought that that would be the end of their friendship, though strangely enough their telepathic bond while strained was able to connect them all those light-years apart.

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: On the day that he was accepted to Star Fleet Academy, he and Iishhiim had a dinner together. Iishhiim, whom had taken over the ship on a three-quarters-of-the-time basis, was excited though distraught about being such a distance from his twin. The two had been together since birth only separated by the duties that they preformed (They even shared quarters until Isshiim’s acceptance).
For a telepath this separation was one that was similar to removing an extremity from one’s body. This left him in an emotionally down spot. (Though his training is keeping his mind off of the pain)
Best Time: When he and his twin where playing on the bridge of their fathers freighter they accidentally intercepted an incoming hail, which just happened to be a Ferengi their father had done business with. However with most Ferengi this one had thought he had been double crossed by their father who was “Using me to gain a higher profit!” Since it was a family vessel there was not a need for a bridge crew, this resulted in the twins acting roles as the only line of defense for their family’s survival. The Ferengi had taken the first shot, but by mere coincidence the thing they thought would be a simple plasma cannon turned out to be a prototype quantum torpedo.
The Ferengi ship quickly surrendered and gave Y’Juntuus a substantial amount of compensations for the ‘trauma’ caused to hinder their future trading agreements (apparently Y’Juntuus was actually earning the Ferengi a substantial profit). The Ferengi was compelled to give the twins’ father a truly fair price in all of their future arrangements that are still happening to this day! This has allowed the family to purchase a newer starship and the armaments needed to protect their family.
Most Crucial Experience: Isshiim’s realization that he was different from all of his family except Iishhiim. With that knowledge he began a pursuit to be the ultimate that was his potential. He quickly became the chief engineer on their vessel, able to disassemble and reassemble the entire Impulse manifold in less than 40 hours. When he began to pursue a career in Star Fleet he found that his unique abilities could possibly serve to make him and the galaxy around him a better place.
Role Model: Though his exposure to Terran reading materials was extremely limited he began to model his life after Leonard McCoy whom endeavored to do as much as he could to heal and change the Galaxy around HIMSELF
