Internal transporter node

Internal transporter nodes were devices embedded within the body of an advanced Borg drone formed from the merging of Seven of Nine's nanoprobes and The Doctor's mobile emitter in 2375.

These nodes allowed One to transport himself at will, without relying on external technology. One used them to transport aboard a Borg sphere, to save USS Voyager from destruction.

Most highly radioactive or biohazard materials that are in transport contain an Internal transporter node within their storage container in order to make transporting the containers easier and less likely to create a fault.
