Control thrusters are parts of the propulsion technology aboard a space station.
Fun Fact:
- After the Cardassian withdrawal from Bajor in 2369, Deep Space 9 had only six working control thrusters.
Moving the station with those six remaining thrusters would have taken about two months.
Instead, the station's deflector generators were modified to create a subspace field around the station, lowering its inertial mass.
