Personal History
Xavier was born in a transport from Vulcan to earth. Growing up with his mother and father for a short time was quite uneventful but nonetheless has nothing completely boring about it. After he turned six his mother's health slowly began to decline. The doctors tried to help but his father never explained what happened. The event was just too painful for Kyle. To this day Xavier hasn't been able to get much out of his father. He has talked and talked about it but usually it ends up with his father heading for the nearest alcoholic drink. Kyle is an alcoholic, and as Xavier understands, he can't bear to think about the absence of his wife.
Xavier, after seeing his mother die of a strange illness when he was only seven could not shake his desire to go into medicine. He couldn't help but make his life goal to become a medical officer on a starship. His father greatly supported him by giving him ideas as to where to go and what to do. Xavier has been waiting for the chance to be in the medical field for Star Fleet since then.
Xavier began to work out ever so often, getting into shape, although he wasn't the biggest build on the block, but he could pull his own weight. He studied medical books that he found in his father's library database. The books were more history books with medical failures in it. But nonetheless Xavier studied them with a passion. He found out later that the books he had been reading were just a bunch of crazy people with money from the 20th Century who really didn't know anything about medicine or science.
After a short stint in Star Fleet, Xavier requested an extended leave of absence to seek out his purpose to avoid further psychological damage from the lack of fulfillment he found in being a doctor. He travelled to Vulcan to learn their methods and pursuit of logic, suppressing the emotions, and embracing a life of greater meaning. It took some time to heal and overcome the loss of his mother and the rejection he felt from his father, but after that he began to prove a capable student in logic, though he was far behind in comparison to students of his age. Xavier was released to return to Star Fleet under the condition that he would keep in weekly contact with his mentor, Sethel. He also embraced a vegetarian diet.
