Yridia

Yridia, or Yridia Prime, is the homeworld for the Yridian species.

This system's primary star is a G-type star, located in the Beta Quadrant.

Located near a nebula that Starfleet refers to as simply, the "Yridia Nebula," it is possible that this is a main source of minerals and ores used in the production of valuables used for trading.

At some point before the 2360s, the Federation believed that the Yridian race had gone extinct, which can be explained by assuming that some natural, or unnatural, disaster affected the race sometime between the 2150s and 2360s.
