The Woden (NCC-325) was an old-style automated Federation Antares-class ore freighter that was in service during the latter half of the 23rd century.
The Woden was encountered by the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701 near the Alpha Carinae system in 2268.
Initial sensor scans described the ship as an unidentified, large, slow-moving vessel.
It was not programmed to answer hails.
Under the control of the M-5 computer, the Enterprise moved to intercept at warp 4 speed, and destroyed thei freighter with photon torpedoes set to full power.
Fortunately, the freighter was fully automated and carried no crew.
