The Tilonian male who tortured Commander Riker

Tilonus IV is a Class M planet, and the fourth in its star system.

It is the homeworld of the Tilonians, a humanoid civilization quickly identified for their highly-curved forehead arches.


In 2369, the Prime Minister was assassinated, and the government of Tilonus IV fell into a state of total anarchy.

Unfortunately, there was a Star Fleet research team on the planet, and so the USS Enterprise was sent to rescue them.





Commander Riker was captured while trying to find the science team, all of whom were in hiding.

  • Recognizing him as alien, the Tilonians tortured him for information.
  • After Riker returns to the ship, he suffers PTSD due to this torture.
