Starbase 219 is a Federation starbase administrated by Starfleet.

In 2370, Admiral Nakamura ordered Captain Picard of the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D--D to participate in the annual Starfleet Admiral's Banquet on the starbase, but due to problems with the ship's new warp core, the captain could not make it in time.
