'''Sal'rin V''' is a planet in the [[Sal'rin]] system of the [[Romulan Main Page|Romulan Star Empire]]. This small world is composed mainly of black rock and is considered scientifically uninteresting.

During Stardate 20808, the [[RIS Shadowhawk]], answering a distress call, encountered a hidden [[Branches of the Romulan Military#Tal'Shiar|Tal'Shiar]] base on the planet. The facility was conducting bioweapons research. An unknown pathogen had spread throughout the base, requiring the Shadowhawk to render assistance. The ship's medical staff, led by [[S'Ten]] and [[Areinnye s'Jeiai]], found a cure for the disease, though the Shadowhawk's first officer, Domaere, fell victim to the pathogen and died. The Shadowhawk's commanding officer, [[V'Tana]], acting in cooperation with the facility's commander, Valis, destroyed the base, leaving no trace of it behind.
