After an aborted mission during which the Apparition's holographic systems malfunctioned, the ship was decommissioned and the crew re-assigned.
Xan was very sorry to leave Adaran after working with hir for so long but if he was honest his new assignment back at Area 42 was better suited to his new status as a husband and father, and the promotion to Captain didn't hurt either. All in all he was looking forward to the next phase of his life.
