ShipSpotlight-Pulsar

Serving as the 1st Battle Group Flagship, USS Pulsar is named after the pulsar star type. A pulsar is a rapidly rotating neutron star which emits electrons at nearly the speed of light from its magnetic poles, producing an effect reminiscent of the lighthouses once used to guide maritime vessels around coastlines, shoals and reefs, or towards safe harbor. The USS Pulsar is a symbol to all who see her of Star Fleet's watchful eye over the Federation.
