San Francisco Shipyards is also known as San Francisco Navy Yards or simply San Francisco Yards.
A Star Fleet shipyard located in Earth orbit, its planetary offices located in the city of San Francisco. There is also an orbital office complex near the drydocks of the yard.
As well as containing several drydocks, there was also an orbital office complex that acted as a nexus for the yards.
Along with the Utopia Planitia Shipyards on and around Mars, the San Francisco Fleet Yards are one of the major starship design and construction facilities of Starfleet.
