Personal History
Eoin was born – slightly early - in Belfast on St Patrick’s Day to Fiona and Seamus O’Hara in what can only be described as an emergency. With an older brother, Eoin was always living in his shadow and constantly doted upon by his late grandparents. Wishing to outshine his brother, Eoin took up different pursuits such as rock climbing where he stumbled upon an outward-bound course being run by Starfleet Academy. Eoin immediately began talking to the raw recruits and decided that upon finishing college education, he would join up as a Fighter Pilot. Succeeding in passing all but one aptitude test, Eoin had to reassess his situation in Starfleet and decided on a career in engineering. During training, in a simulated attack on Starfleet Headquarters, he was critically injured and had to be evacuated to a medical centre where he met his current wife - Philippa – a nurse, who tended to him after falling for his accent.
Shortly after graduation, Eoin was assigned to his first starship – USS Universe – and served as a junior engineering officer. Upon completion of his first tour, he was posted to Research and Development and has been working on projects for transwarp capabilities and starship design for the next generation of space vessels. Part way through his research he was approached by the Academy to assist in instructing new cadets, which he has taken willingly as it allows him to be on the same planet as his now pregnant wife.

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: The loss of his grandparents due to the passing of time
Best Time: Marriage to Philippa, and finding out that she was pregnant coming a close second
Most Crucial Experience: During rock climbing, Eoin was close to a climber that fell a considerable distance. It taught him always to respect what he was doing, and to pay attention as the slightest lapse in concentration could cost a lot.
