Personal History
Sarah could easily be described as the typical Star Fleet brat. She was an only child and both parents were career Star Fleet officers. Her father was a Science Officer on a relay station near the Trill homeworld. Her mother was a security officer on the same station. When they were married they applied for a family transfer and were granted it upon the USS Kursk; and that was where Sarah was born. She grew up on the Starship, and Star Fleet became her life. Ever since she was very young, she dreamed of being a bridge officer.
As soon as she was old enough, she applied, and was accepted to the Academy. Sarah studied Tactics both on the starship level, and tactical strategy, operations, and planning on a larger scale. She excelled in the advanced strategy and operations courses, to the degree that she was noticed by elements within Star Fleet. Her graduation from the academy was the final step that the Trill Joining Commission needed to see in order to deem her worthy of the Mynx symbiont. Like Sarah, the Mynx symbiont is fairly young. Sarah is only it’s second host -the first having been a gymnast, typical of most symbiotes.
The combination of a new symbiont and her stellar record in her field at the Academy made her a prime choice for recruitment into an entry level position in the Star Fleet Intelligence Corps’ Office of Special Security. Joined Trill are a useful asset for SFI, as long as there are no loose ends in any of the histories of the past hosts. Mynx having only one prior host, was the perfect combination of the benefits without the risks. Her tactical specialties were nurtured as she was continued in her training. She received certifications as a basic-level special security officer and a special tactical intelligence analyst.
When Captain Daher received his first command onboard the USS Titan, SFI deemed it necessary for him to be ‘looked after’ on his first mission, due to his prior history with them. Mynx, being a tactical officer as well, as assigned to the Titan’s tactical department. While she preformed all of the duties of a junior tactical officer, her real assignment was to provide personal security for the unknowing new Captain. She worked along side her more experienced partner, Petty Officer 1st Class Richard Sharpe. Sharpe was also with SFI’s Office of Special Security, as well as a certified tactical NCO, and had been assigned to act as the Captain’s Yeoman. The dynamics between the two worked perfectly – Mynx senior in rank, but junior in experience. On the surface she outranked Sharpe, but their true assignments had him as the senior member of the detail.
SFI deemed the Captain secure from certain threats they had partially feared when he had received his first command, and thus recalled Mynx and Sharpe after the mission’s end. The two were transferred to Starbase Alpha to work with Star Fleet Tactical’s Office of Tactical Planning there.

Personality: Sarah is usually amiable to most she encounters the first time around. She does have a judgmental streak that kicks in quickly, and is hard to reverse, so she sometimes unfairly judges people and associates with them according to her first impressions. Although she’d never admit to it in any straight forward capacity, Sarah has no problem being very sexually promiscuous and sees nothing wrong with using it to achieve self-serving objectives, without giving a second thought to the other person (or people) involved
Sense of Humor: Sarah’s sense of humor is usually dominated by subtle and usually slightly provocative jokes
Phobias: Sarah is afraid of anything that could be considered ‘slimy’ – ironic because many consider the Trill symbiont to be that way

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: While she has never experienced anything that was painful to her in her adult life, she still harbors fear and emotional pain from a heart break during her adolescent years. She had befriended a boy on the Kursk who was her age and grew up on the ship, and had become romantically attracted to him. They both went on to the Academy where Sarah had assumed they’d begin a relationship beyond the line of a simple friendship. The boy did not see it that way and quickly made it clear by dating another cadet at the Academy. Sarah was crushed, and uses that pain to motivate herself to not open up to anyone beyond a shallow level of emotional vulnerability
Best Time: Being notified by the Symbiosis commission that she’d been approved for the Mynx symbiont
Most Crucial Experience: Sarah highly values her training with Star Fleet Intelligence and her trials she went through during the Academy for the Trill symbiosis commission
Role Model: Sarah never had many other friends besides the boy who broke her heard and her parents, so her parents became her only role models
