The Manora shipyards were Cardassian-Dominion shipyards. They were one of the intended targets of General Martok's "cavalry raid" in 2375.
After the Dominion War, Manora Ship Yards was downgraded to a civilian shipyard that allowed the Cardassians to upgrade their previously almost non-existent mercantile fleet. Now Manora Ship Yards serves as a major civilian port.
