2002 - Prof. Kevin Warwick of the University of Reading in England demonstrates the first direct electronic communication between the nervous systems of two humans.
2003 - The Spirit Rover is launched, beginning NASA's Mars Exploration Rover mission.
2018 - NASA's Opportunity rover sends it last message back to Earth. The mission was declared over on February 13, 2019.
